Hello and welcome everyone! Thank you for showing interest in this dressing room. This is all something hastily put together and I don't have much experience with create whole communities BUT I hope that it can serve as a place for everyone to have fun.

Please feel free to use this post as a way to introduce yourself and your characters! Not required but there is a template below you can use if you are unsure how to start :)

Character: Ysayle Dangoulain
Age: 24
About: I've got a run down of her here. Nothing should be too surprising. Only thing I really feel needs to be said is that I do RP her in scenarios in which she survives HW. During StB she remains in Anyx Trine to help lead efforts to repair it and create a settlement around it, and aid in bridging the gap between man and dragon. Then ShB forward she joins the Scions.

I did have one AU version of hers that I had been working ages ago but I don't think I ever fully finalized it and I only ever did one thread. STILL. If it sounds like something people would be interested I'd have fun with that too!

Seeking: Give me everything, I'm down for any and all. My only request is that if you have a WoL or OC for us to please talk shop before assuming anything about their relationship. Since everyone has their own unique WoL she may not necessarily react or say the same things to yours as she did in canon.

Plotting: I'm a pretty big fan of expanding upon canon scenes to explore avenues that may have been glossed over. Character centric things are fun too, or we can always just grab a meme and run from there. I'm quite flexible and just kinda trying to get the RP gears turning so I'm down for anything!

Character: Miel Kha
Age: 18 at the start of ARR and 31 by DT end.
About: Oh lord I really need to sit my butt down some day to write everything out in full about her backstory but to try and keep it short her mother was an archon who specialized in aetheric polarities and came to learn of the true nature of light and dark.

Instead of being put off by what she learned of light she became fanatical seeing it as the best way to achieve peace and having very strict ideas of innocence and purity. She had Miel for the purposes of bringing everlasting peace and beauty to the Source by TLDR Miel ended up with my friend's WoL, Lavanda Kha when she was 8.

She was adopted into the Kha clan and lived there for several years until she and her brother went off to Gridania and both became known as the Warriors of Light. Miel on the surface is what you would call a stepford smiler and while she can certainly feel negative emotions due to her bio mom's conditioning she had difficulty processing it and up until Shb no ability to express it so she can often come off as incredibly insensitive. Of the two Khas she's the more pragmatic and cynical and largely only ended up with the Scions to look out for her brother and make sure his compassion doesn't get taken advantage of.

She's got a boatload of anger issues to work through and most of her friendships tend to be surface level as she's prone to put up walls when people start getting too close.

Seeking: I'm up for anything! While Miel doesn't let people get close she can have casual friendships and is indeed pretty playful and teasing. So if you want light hearted stuff? That's possible. If you want something more hostile with Miel's blunt and seemingly uncaring nature? Can do. Want to get the tsun piece of shit to open up? Very hard but hey we can work towards that as well.

About: WoL OC with a flexible concept of "Oh, there's other WoLs? Other timelines? Makes sense." Because when you've seen the plot of FFXIV, that doesn't sound so implausible. PLD main, WVR specialist. Likes swords, clothcraft, and fresh bread. I've got an impressions post for a bit more content, if you are so inclined.

Seeking: What I really want is to be able to voicetest her in like...a welcoming environment? I know a lot of people in DWRP can be hesitant with WoLs and that's valid! I don't wanna be able to Do All The Things and Be The Most Powerful, that's boring. So I'm down for pretty much most kinds of CR. Except shipping I guess? Not really feeling shipping her in RP at the moment.

Plotting: Let's absolutely get into silly shenanigans and have a good time! Let's be friends, or at least give characters a better crack at things than canon gave to them. I'm very much a "plot by the seat of my pants" kind of RPer, trying to take things as they come and work with them.

Hey hey~ Ysayle's a little awkward when it comes to interacting with people outside of the whole 'stop the war between man and dragon' but I can definitely offer a welcoming environment with her. I am sorta using her as a bit of a "explain what's going on to newcomers" for anyone who wants to RP in the dream world.

So if you'd be interested we can do that? Did you have any thoughts on how they got along during HW?

Aaaaa sorry for the late reply! Work and rl got a bit more hectic than I counted on...

I'd be interested in that! And I think...Firoza would have been cautious, but curious about Ysayle, and coming to understand over the course of HW how deeply her convictions ran, and how dearly she yearned for peace. So that would make sort of a connection in her head, like...oh, even though her methods are not ones I would do, our goals are aligned, and this is still a good person. Definitely positive in general.

Seeking: Good gravy let him nerd out over you if you're a key player from ARR through StB, he probably wants to meet you, he's so excited to meet actual historical figures from the Warrior of Light's life - though he will calm down from the bigeyed fanboy reaction after a bit, if that makes you uncomfortable.
